Posted January 31, 201311 yr FPCH Admin I installed Windows XP on a new clean harddrive a few days ago and after installing SP3 and all updates I found that I could not access any sound on my PC . the downloads for sound drivers failed wnd after extensive research i learned it is some issue with SP3 ... so i reformatted my hard drive and am trying to start over . now it seems I cannot get ANY microsoft updates at all .
