Posted August 30, 201212 yr FPCH Admin the default keyboard in windows 8 is an interesting beast. im surprised at the lack of shortcuts like touch hold numbers and special character access, and yet there are many other features such as emoticons and cool things like touch hold the .com to get a bunch of others like .org and .com.(region code) which are great... im surprised at the lack of text suggestions as you type, as existed in windows 7 and the lack of ability to fallback to alpha from numeric in anyway like after a space... also surprised, mildly, at the lack of anyway to get to fn keys - unless you go, settings, standard leyboard layout and the appearance in setting of corrections and the like but they don't always show up anywhere that I can see... no idea if any of this feedback is gonna be useful to anyone...
