Posted January 27, 201311 yr FPCH Admin Hello all. I really hope someone can help me with this, since I can't use my computer at all, and I have to use a different laptop to write this post. The Problem: Windows Vista will not start with normal settings or in Safe Mode. To be more precise, after Vista boots, there is only a black screen and limited mouse functionality. The Background & Cause of Problem: I use Windows Vista Home Premium SP 2. I disabled the DCOMLauncher Service using Sysinternal's Autoruns program. What I've attempted: I have attempted to start Vista in Safe Mode with no results. Thank you to all who try to help me.
