I installed Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 on my laptop which runs Windows 7 64bit. Everything was fine until I started updating my laptop with the latest updates. After installing all the updates, IE 10 will not go to any website and continues to

say &quotPage can't be displayed&quot for anything. I uninstalled IE 10 and reinstalled and same issue. I then did a System Restore back before updating my laptop and then went through one by one installing updates to see if I could find an issue with one of the updates.

After much time, I found that &quotSecurity Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x64-based Systems (KB2729452)&quot is the issue. I installed all other updates besides that one and IE 10 still works fine. I did

test (KB2729452) and it gave me the issue again. Is this update very necessary to have? Others have this same issue?
