Posted January 20, 201311 yr FPCH Admin Original TItle: My WMP will not access CDDB for track info whilst CD ripping but I DO have an internet connection. Possible soutions please? I have WMP and XP SP3. My default browser is Firefox .I am trying to rip my CDs to WMP and, although the music is loaded fine, none of the tracks have any ID info. I have researched various forums with no joy. Most common theory is that I am not accessing the CD db because i was not connected to the internet whilst Ripping. I have a permanent Broadband connection and all other aspects of internet operate just fine,I have tried the suggested method of "find media info" but this loads an almost blank page with no indication if any search is happening and can still be blank 15 mins later.
