While updating my Win 8 I received a notification that more was available. As it turned out the upgrade cost 9.99 and turned out to be just the Media Center. I could not find any other changes in my Win 9 Start menu, and other functions all performed the

same as before. Unfortunately upon clicking the app the first time, it opened and highlighted on a little window showing my videos, but I did not get a cursor to use for selecting. By wiggling around the mouse and watching very closely, I can see some items

on the screen slightly lighten up, and then can double click on that space and it expands the video list, but the only place that does anything else is when I can get the mouse over the X in the top right corner.

How do I get a cursor?

How do I back up?

Or maybe the best question is how do I navigate around?

I was finally able to get one of my videos to open but could not back out. I had to shut down the computer and restart in order to get back to the location where I saw the videos list the first time.

This is rather awkward situation, and I suppose this program is designed to work with a touch screen, but I do not have one, and if that is the only solution, then I really don't need this upgrade at all.

Any ideas how I can get a cursor so I can make selections easy? After reading a few of the FAQ's it looks like I should have seen a "setup" page, but I did not. Can that page be recalled now, or do I have to re-download the program again?

Thanks for any help and or advice you can provide.

Joel
