KB2758694 Jan '13 update for MSXML 4 SP3.. An error occured during the installation of assembly comp

Hi, having (again) resolved the dot NET 4 updates of the latest batch of Windows updates, this one resists all attempts so far.

Windows update gives unknown Code 643.

(I never understand how they can come up with unique codes, then call them unknown - maybe it's just so they can group them or help people find others who have the same problem and solve it for Microsoft).

I've tried repairing and uninstalling MSXML 4, same result.

I've tried downloading and manually installing this update, which gives:

An error occured during the installation of assembly component

{DF935623-B7DF-B3BF-A06B-D6B9ABF34537).

HRESULT: 0X8007371B.

I've found only one person (in Holland) who has the same problem.

I've run the SUR tool.
