Posted January 12, 201311 yr FPCH Admin Hi, I connected a 1tb HDD to my server running Windows Home Server 2011. The drive installs but no drive letter is assigned. I use the fdisk, disk management program to assign a drive letter and the drive appears in My Computer and behaves as normal it is formatted and can read and write data as usual. However this drive does not appear in Dashboard - Hard Drives Tab and I am unable to therefore create any server Folders for it. If add a different HDD, it shows up in the dashboard immediately. This 1tb drive was taken from a NAS but has since been formatted. can anyone help? View this thread Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
