FPCH Admin AWS Posted January 11, 2013 FPCH Admin Posted January 11, 2013 Hello, I accidently opened spam with an attacment, and I'm not sure if the attachment downloaded automatically. I'm told some can. My computer is acting a bit differently: slower, windows open on their own, and letters reverse while I type. I have Microsoft Security Essentials as my anti-virus software and am running it now however, I just found out about Microsoft Safety Scanner. Is it worth running too? If it uses the same detection tools from Microsoft as their "Security Essentials," which I have, again, as my anti-virus program, will it bring anything new to finding out whether there's a virus on my computer? Is there anything else I can use to detect a virus that doesn't conflict with my "Security Essentials"? Thanks View this thread Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
