Posted January 10, 201311 yr FPCH Admin Windows 7 updates continue to install automatically after I have changed Important updates settings to "check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them". Under "Recommended Updates" I have checked off "give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates are received. I have disabled the Microsoft product updates function in that Updates window as well, the 4th option on that page. Everything was working fine until January 8th, and nothing has changed on my system. Somehow they are getting through. Thanks! View this thread Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
