I've been tasked with migrating a number of our users up to the Hosted Exchange services to coincide with our shift toward O365. I have an existing Exchange 2010 environment, 2008R2 AD Domain, and all the virtual infrastructure I could ever want. Now I'm

looking at deploying a 2012 domain controller and a pair of adfs servers and proxies on Server 2012.

The problem I'm looking for help on is the ADFS 2.1 federation with the Office 365 cloud. From what I understand (from a preliminary googling) there is a fair amount of "under the hood" changes that have to be undertaken to make it work (changing reg keys

to falsely indicate the existence of powershell snapins, reverting changes after patches, lots of nastiness like that...). I'm not sure if ADFS 2.1 is the best option for us to use to step in to this O365 experience. Maybe someone who has implemented

it can speak to the ease of use? Any horror stories out there, or is everyone just using ADFS 2.0?
