I get error code 0x80244019 when my computer (running XP) checks for updates.

I went to use Windows Malicious Software tool after I received a note saying that Windows defender could not download updates for my

computer. It found no problems. My internet service provider says that I need to install service pack 2 before their software will work when

I am already running with service pack 2 installed. I mistakedly downloaded and installed service pack 2 for developers and that's when

I statrted with all the other problems. I can't seem to get much of anything to install properly either.
