Posted November 25, 201212 yr FPCH Admin I turned off windows defender and cannot figure out how to turn it back on. I have found Defender and when I start it I get the not so helpful message "Windows Defender has been turned off and isn't monitoring your computer." Yep... knew that. How do I turn it on? Really guys, this should not be that difficult. LDW PS: I do not have any other anti-virus program installed. Defender was turned on and running. I turned it off at the suggestion of another post in this forum to see if that would correct the problem with an error in the Windows Experience Index.
