Posted November 21, 201212 yr FPCH Admin My computer has been trying to install the same 10 updates since last Wednesday 11/14. When I turn off the computer, they install. When I turn it back on it says it is applying the 18,852 update operations. Next it starts windows and says its preparing to configure.... do not turn off. When it gets to 100%, it says, Fairure configuring windows updates reverting changes. It shuts down, says it's preparing to configure, another failure and revert message. It shuts down again, and finally allows me to log on to the computer. This takes about 25 minutes. Using the FIX IT troubleshooter, it said it was fixed twice, and now it says the trouble shooting cannot continue because errors occurred. Help, please.
