Posted November 18, 201212 yr FPCH Admin Have reloaded XP from a DVD back-up prepared on purchase of an Advent8111 laptop approx 6 years ago. The Advent now works ok with the original version of XP but attemps to upgrade to the current version fail with the message "Error number 0x80240036 The web site cannot display the page you are trying to view" . I have managed to load the latest version of I.E 8 and Adobe. I would welcome ideas on how to proceed. View this thread Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
