Posted November 19, 201212 yr FPCH Admin About Windows PowerShell 3.0: 1. Running "C:windowsSystem32WindowsPowerShellv1.0powershell_ise.exe" has the title "Windows PowerShell ISE" which should be the 32-bit version AND, 2. Running "C:windowssysWOW64WindowsPowerShellv1.0powershell_ise.exe" has the title "Windows PowerShell ISE (x86)" which should be the 64-bit version. BUT, 3. Doesn't (x86) stand for 32-bit and (x64) stand for 64-bit versions of programs? AND, 4. Neither "Windows PowerShell ISE" program's "Help" menu has an "About" item. SO, 5. Why are the titles not indicating the 32/64-bit version correctly? AND, 6. Which bit version of the "Windows PowerShell ISE" programs am I really running when I run 1 or 2 above?
