Empty drives not showing in 'My Computer'

They are shown in the middle pane, but not in the folder tree.

Obviously, my question is how to show them in the folder tree.

They pop up when there is media in the drive.

In:

'Organize' - 'Folder and search options'

I unchecked the option:

'Hide empty drives in the Computer folder'

I applied and rebooted but no luck.

To be sure I repeated the process but the problem persists.
