I have a new laptop and transferred programs and files from my old laptop using PCMover. It transferred everything, even things I told it not to transfer, so now I have a 32-bit version of Security Essentials on my laptop which has a 64-bit CPU. When I

try to UNinstall Security Essentials so I can download a compatible version, it identifies Security Essentials as a program I have to delete first. But when I try to uninstall it, I get the following message:

"You're trying to run a 32-bit version of the Security Essentials Setup Wizard on a computer that has a 64-bit microprocessor (CPU). To learn how to run the Security Essentials Setup Wizard on a 64-bit computer, click

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials/support?mkt=en-us. Error code: 0x8004FF2E."

I find a lot of information about identifying what version I have/need but I can't find anything that tells me how to UNinstall the 32-bit version so I can reinstall the 64-bit version. Any advice as to how I can uninstall my 32-bit version would be appreciated.

Thanks.
