It seems that sleep mode has a lot of problems. One of my computers won't go into sleep mode (wakes immediately), and now the other one is acting strange too. This morning I hear my computer start up when it's not supposed to... on the screen it says

that Windows recovered from a crash and asked me to send the error details to Microsoft.

How can Windows "crash" while it is supposed to be sleeping/hibernating?

I thought that in this sleep mode everything is supposed to be "almost" powered off? Why is there software running in the background that can crash?
