Posted June 5, 201212 yr FPCH Admin I received an external hard drive gift recently – it is FAT32 formatted. My laptop c drive is NTFS formatted – OS win7. I understand that win 7 also supports FAT32 format. So do I need to reformat the external hard drive before I can use it on my latop?
