Posted March 31, 201212 yr I'm running Windows 7 64 bit on a Compaq laptop. Every time I have to do a sysytem restore, for any reason at all and every restore has been for a different reason, I loose all my Microsoft Security Essentials virus definitions. Since I have dial up this involves between 4.5 to 6 hours to reinstall all the virus definitions since it's a whopping 67 meg. (whopping to dial up users anyhow). So why do I loose all my virus definitions each time I do a system restore? Continue reading...
