Posted March 29, 201212 yr Windows Help suggested the problem might be a conflict after the Windows Essential install. After installing Windows Security Essentials Windows Defender did turn off. Which security feature is better in your opinion for Windows Vista 64 Home Premium version 6? Should I uninstall Essentials or just leave it alone?
