The latest Windows Defender (WD) scan that I ran the evening of March 25, 2012 reported that PWS:win32/ldpinch.bl was malware. WD removed it from my disk. Here is the message:

This program is dangerous and captures user passwords.

Advice:

Remove this software immediately.

The file originally came with a copy of MetaStock version 10.0 that I bought from Equis several years ago. Equis and Reuters service many individual and institutional traders.
