Posted March 24, 201212 yr Re MS Security Essentials. Downloaded, and b4 installing, I view the digital signatures. Certificate Information: issued to Microsoft Corporation, Issued by: Microsoft Code Signing PCA, Valid from 7/19/2010, to 10/19/2011. I am not extremely knowledgeable about certificates, so please correct me if my assumption is wrong. Valid from/to - since today is after 10/19/2011, does this not mean the this certificate is not valid? If that is not what this means, it is very confusing. I receive no warnings and the certificate says that the certificate is good (Ha, imagine that) however the date thing just makes me uneasy. Continue reading...
