Posted August 22, 200717 yr Windows Vista Network Connection ICON on taskbar Ineffective and lacks the tools XP version had. Mainly Enable/Disable and Status-VERY IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS for Internet Connectivity There is a work around by opening Control Panel and creating a shortcut on desktop - The ICON on the desktop. This then gives you Enable/Disable and Status functions for your Internet Connection. but, forces user to minimize Internet Explorer Window to access these functions. I am still searching for a way to make this ICON function like it did so well in XP on the taskbar. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
