Guest SimonTomsett Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Since I started using Microsoft Security Essentials my email access has slowed dramatically. After I open Outlook Express 6, if I click to view an existing email it takes 28 seconds before it opens. No new processes are started in this time, and there is very little processor use, but the hard drive light is on continuously. I've removed all other malware programs, but no improvement. I'm running XP SP3. Any suggestions? Or should I just abandon MSE and go back to AVG/Spybot/ASC? Continue reading... Quote
