Remove Windows 7 Public folder Libraries for good!

Hi, I am really shocked that I cannot find a decent answer already about this anywhere on the net.

I am just setting up roaming profiles and folder redirection for Windows 7. I am linking the Document, Music, Pictures and Video back to a server. Under the libraries in explorer it shows you a concatenation of both the server and the public folders...but I don’t want this. I just want to users to ONLY be able to see the server location.

This Technet article above simply hides the public folder using the ATTRIB command but does not remove the public folder from the library.

You can remove it manually I know, but is there really no way to script this or a group policy that I can use?
