Posted March 19, 201212 yr Immediately after download i lost spotify (music site, which i managed to reinstall), disapeared off the radar as being on-line, my boyfriend, who i'd been on chat with, got mcAffee imediately kicking in as it spoted unknown virus. Broadband connection was lost, no internet connection, only local through dongle or yellow realtek cable extension (local broadband also disabled). I had it scanned through windows fix-it+defender+an ARO cursory scan. Uninstalled all that date's updates+downloads to try to get rid of virus and done a defrag. Had to re-register with my Bullguard. Lost 2 windows updates/programs+hp launch box+other and ralink. Still no net connection and local only through yellow cable. Haven't used laptop since for fear of spreading virus. Don't know what else to do and it was not my fault. Please help with a proper scan and advice. Continue reading...
