Posted March 9, 201212 yr urgent questions here. I want to change my one (and only) hard disk from MBR to GPT. I decided to backup my stuff and make a system image. I proceeded to do my stuff. After converting to GPT, I went to restore my OS. Question: After restoring, will my hard disk be reset to MBR? Will I lose my partitions? Another question: Can I use a Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit Install DVD to access my system recovery options and restore my 64-bit Windows 7 home premium? Will it be compatible? Does it matter?
