Posted March 3, 201212 yr Hi I have an E-MU Xboard61 MIDI Keyboard which I have recently discovered is being blocked by Microsoft Security Essentials.......I have just done a clean install of my Windows 7 64Bit and tested the MIDI Keyboard after each update I applied. As soon as I installed Microsoft Security Essentials the MIDI keyboard stopped working. I turned off real time protection in MSE, re-booted my pc and the keyboard works.........then turn on real time protection again and the keyboard doesn't work..........is their any way I can set up an exception rule in Microsoft Security Essentials so that it doesn't "block' my MIDI keyboard?
