MSE stops during either QUICK or FULL scan and computer reboots

Operating system is Windows XP PRO w/ SP3 installed

Machine is Dell Laptop

MSE will not complete scan in either QUICK or FULL modes but will complete scan in CUSTOM w/ entire Hard Drive selected to scan

Machine will reboot when trying QUICK or FULL scans and MSE terminates

This problem started early last week, after updating MSE
