Posted March 3, 201212 yr I am exhausted. I've spent hours trying to disable the option to save as pdf in Word 2010's save as menu. I've successfully installed the administrative templates for Office 2010, and added the control id 12499 in Gpedit.msc\ User Config\Administrative Template\Microsoft Word 2010\Disable items in user interface\Custom\Disable commands\. I've run gpupdate /force, restarted the PC, ensured that gpsvc is working properly, tried the same steps on my laptop, tried disabling 'filesaveaswebpage' (3823)(doesnt work too), BUT save as pdf is still ENABLED.
