Posted March 1, 201212 yr I have been experiencing some issues on Win 7 Pro on some of our systems. Sometimes it takes a long time (15 + mins) to even get to the logon prompt, but most of the time is is after the user logs on. It will go to the desktop, but will show no icons or taskbar. I could do ctr+alt+del and bring up task manager. There are only a few processes active. It seems that if I end task on unregmp2.exe, all the remaining processes will load and the desktop appears. I ran msconfig to see if I could remove that from startup, but do not see it. I was leaning torwards a GPO problem until I found this. Continue reading...
