Posted February 28, 201212 yr i have managed to get xp installed after hard drive crash. now win 7 upgrade disk setup says: windows cannot be installed to disk 0 partition 1. details say:windows cannot be installed to this disk. this computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's bios menu. bios sees the disk. and installed xp on the disk in about twenty mins and it is working. i had win 7 64 on this machine before the hard drive crash. asus m2n-e motherboard, amd dual core, 4 gigs ram Continue reading...
