Posted February 28, 201212 yr I was doing an upgrade from Windows XP PRO to Windows 7 Professional. I have all of my serial numbers. During the install it was corrupted and I had to do a repair of the Windows 7 Professional Install. When I try to activate the software it tells me the software version I have isn't for a clean install and is for an upgrade only. I downloaded the upgrade software from Microsoft's store, so I assume I have a legal copy. I have 14 days to activate the software. I already bought another version for my other computer, since they told me that Windows Professional wouldn't work on it for an upgrade from XP home. Continue reading...
