Guest Alison Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I'm experiencing problems with Movie Maker (and DVD) maker in Vista Premium. I've recently upgraded from XP (on a new machine) - I've been using Movie Maker on XP for ages. My main problems with this version are: I can only add transitions in Storyboard view (in timeline view wmm closes) I cannot expand the Video Track to mute audio (again the programme closes) I cannot save as an AVI file (again programme closes down) I can only save best fit for my computer I cannot publish directly to DVD (DVD maker will also not work with AVI files - it closes down!) Does anyone have any suggestions? If so, I'd be grateful - I'm finding it frustrating that I cannot produce the quality of video (and editing) I've been used to with XP. Thanks -- Alison Quote
