Adding a prestaged client to a domain with a batch file

In our current setup we have a Windows Server 2008 Domain controller running on a Forest Functional Level of Windows Server 2003. This is domain 1.

When installing Windows 7 Enterprise clients the Answer file is configured to run a batch file that installs some basic programs used by all computers throughout the organisation, before rebooting the computer and running a second batch file which customises the installation based on computer OU.

In the past the answer file also joined computers to the domain, however we also have a second, separate Forest in our setup used by the administration and senior management staff. This is domain 2.

What we are trying to do is use the first batch file to check the name of the computer (which will have been prestaged in the directory of domain 1). If the name does NOT begin with ADM or FINANCE then it joins it to domain 1.

If already written the batch file such that it will check the name (it calls a separate vbs file to check the name).

Please could someone let me know a utility or program that would add a computer that has ALREADY been prestaged to the directory? Any help will be appreciated.
