Windows 7 SP0 hangs when trying to go to hybernate

My customer uses a Toshiba Laptop (Portege R700)running Windows 7 32 bit. RANDOMLY the Laptop hangs after trying to go into hybernate mode. The Laptop then has to be cold rebooted in order to work again. This unpleasant because open documents are not saved and the work is lost.

The same Laptop hangs when trying to install SP1. It will download it, but at installation after some 5 minutes it just stops. The Laptop has to be restarted in save mode to make it work again. I post both issues in one thread because both issues might be based on the same porblem.
