Deployment plan:

Upgrade all current Office 2007 (64bits) on Windows 7(64bits) and Windows XP (32bits) to Office 2010 Pro Plus (32bits)

Preparation completed:

Created customization .MSP file in OCT tool as well as script file for auto-activation of the program on both 32 and 64 bits system.

Tested no problem on Windows XP (32bits) -> Office 2010 installed without error and my auto-activation script works like a charm.

See this thread for my script http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/officevolact/thread/75f3080e-526f-421c-b2d0-31cd5876bdb1

Problem:

Installation failed on Windows 7 (64bits) with 2 different errors on 2 different machines

First one, ERROR 1406: Permission error. Is there anyway to fix this? I hate to write a script file the change the permission setting for this...

Second one, Issues with previous version of Office was corrupted.... Again, I wish to fix this prior to the installation but want to automate it. I want to make it as a flawless installation file so that user won't have to worry about sending a ticket everytime they see one of the above error... we have like 500 users here..

I found the fix for these 2 problem but usually require the present of Administrator to make changes to permission and registry. Goal is to automate all the fix so that it will be FULLY UNATTENDED.... any suggestion?
