Posted February 22, 201213 yr original title: question on microsoft security essentials I downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Version. I had no problem downloading. However, every time I turn my computer on the icon changes from green to a brownish red color and states that my computer is Potentially Unprotected. I came into this sight one day last week, and I noticed someone else was having a similar issue. I seen that it was said to go into the CCleaner and under applications uncheck microsoft antimalware and microsoft control panel. I did so. But that has not changed anything. What else can I do?
