Allow a file that was labeled Quatantine by Microsoft Security Essentials

original title: Allow a file

MSE complains about a file that, in my particular case, is desired.

MSE shows me a select box for choices of what to do with the file. However, the only choice in that select box is, "Quarantine".

I want the file to be allowed and I don't want MSE to ask me again about it. I have already put the file into the exclusion list, but this has had no effect.

Is there any way to force MSE to do what I want, short of uninstalling it?

Hans
