"There are insufficent resources to open another file" on shared file *AutoRoute 2006 axe*

Good afternoon,

In our organisation we use Microsoft Autoroute with a shared *.axe with push pins all around the UK and Europe.

Currently due to increasing in size and more and more people using the file, it seems that when a certain number of users are connected (not sure if there is a maximum restriction) new users trying to open the file get "There are insufficent resources to open another file"

After testing when one user comes out of the file the user recieving the error can get in fine and the working user who logged out gets the error.

I have had our server guys answer the question if there are any restrictions on the server which could be causing the max number of users to access one file but I've been told there are no restrictions.

Does anyone know if the application has any restrictions which would cause this?

I hope someone knows the answer!

Many thanks.
