Hi all, no idea if this is being posted in the right place, I've been looking at the list of forums for about half an hour and still can't find one that seems to fit, so apologies if it is in the wrong place, if someone can tell me where it should go I'll repost it.

Anyway, the question.

I have a partitioned hard drive, something I've never had before, and recently needed to reload Windows due to a bit of malware that wouldn't let me open any protection software. So I reinstalled Windows from the disc expecting the old Windows to be overwritten. I now have two versions on my PC. Can someone please tell me how I can get rid of the old one but keep the new?
