Guest Candystand Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Hi so I have MSE installed on three of my computers, and ever since I updated to definition file 1.119.1972.0 (Feb. 14, 2012 1:37pm) as of about 5pm EST today (Feb 14, 2012), every time I go on www.google.ca on Internet Explorer 9, MSE has been coming up with the Exploit:JS/Blacole.BW warning (http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Threat/Encyclopedia/Entry.aspx?name=Exploit%3aJS%2fBlacole.BW&threatid=2147654043_. This occurance has been confirmed on both Windows 7 x64 and Windows Vista x64 PCs with MSE, and they are both guaranteed clean (no warning/infection before update to this definition version, and just completed full scans on both PCs yesterday with MSE and Malwarebytes). Therefore, I can only conclude that this newest version of the MSE definitions file version is glitched? Or do I really have a virus? Thanks! Continue reading... Quote
