It seems that Windows 8 will include a new version of Windows Defender, adding anti-virus functionality to this (by now) anti-spyware only program (for example, see this post: http://connect.microsoft.com/Connect/feedback/details/693886/windows-8-security). Does anyone have reliable insights about this rumor? Will MSE be continued, will it be continued for pre-Windows 8 versions only (XP, Vista, Windows 7)?
