AutoPurgeWorker is deleting System Log File Entries That I want to save/print

XP Pro w SP3:

Viewing Security Essential History Tab there are many entries dating back to last December that I want to save/print. Since there is no process for that in SE I followed several Post in this community to look for the SE Log files. Many I am not able to open however I found one (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Microsoft Antimalware\Support\MPLog-{dates} ) that shows many of the Items that I'm wanting to save/print. I also see that some process named AutoPurgerWorker is deleting the Detection items from the System logs. Why is this happening and how do I turn it off so I can retrieve these entries from the Event Veiwer - System Log ( Source: Microsoft AntiMalware, Type: Warning). ?????
