IE8 Blacks out text boxes when printing

When I print from internet explorer 8 the normal text prints fine, but of there is anything in a text box it only comes out as a black bar. As if IE8 ir redacting my print outs.

We are printing to a network copier using a PCL6 driver.

 

Using IE8 with Win7x64

 

Printers are Ricoh 2851, 4001, 5001 A couple of HP printers, and a wireless Brother.

The PC's are basically fresh installs of Win 7x64. I have updated them and installed a few pieces of basic software. Some are OEM installs of WIn7 x64 others are blank installs with the same softwares installed and all of the updates.

 

Due to restrictions with many sites that we use for our business we can only use IE8, not IE9 or IE7.

 

It is not images that are the issue, it is inset text boxes. In the links I provided, the large black areas are text boxes. You can see the image on the one page.
