Is it possible to upgrade from Win 7 32bit EN to Win 7 64bit EN? - Not fresh instalation

Hi guys!

I have a system that is WIN 7 32bit EN and 6GB DDR2 memory banks, but WIN 32bit only recognise 3,24 GB as usable memory.

I intend to upgrade to WIN 7 64bit EN (I got the original software and Key already) to be able to use more memory than the 3,24 GB.

Is it possible to make an upgrade to Win 7 64bit from Win 7 32 bit, I mean I don't want to make a new and fresh instalation, what I need is an upgrade, is it possible?

Something like inserting the 64bit DVD on the drive and chosing upgrade.

BTW I have plenty of stuff on the 32bit PC, like Office 2010 32bit, and some virtual machines, does it matter?

My PC is a core 4 Quad 64bit.

Every answer is very welcome.
