Posted February 9, 201213 yr So I'm really hoping that what I've read so far about Autotext in Word 2010 is wrong because if what I've read is right, my working life is totally screwed up and I'm even angrier than I already was with Microsoft for forcing me to migrate from Word 2003 which worked just fine thank you very much. So I type medical reports all the time for my work and as well as using autocorrect to replace things (e.g. rha = rheumatoid arthritis), I use Autotext a lot too. There are lots of long phrases and paragraphs that we use repeatedly so this function is very helpful. Can someone please explain to me in VERY simple terms how to add new entries. I have tried migrating my normal.dot thing from the older version but this hasn't worked. I copied and pasted the normal.dot thing over into the correct folder but this didn't seem to do anything. Please help me, I am desperate to get this sorted and about to blow a gasket because I'm so angry with Microsoft for making me waste all this time in the first place! Thanks Continue reading...
