Can Unattend.xml use split wim files? .SWM

I have an image that I want to burn to a dual layer DVD or put on a USB key but the wim file is 5.6GB. I tried to use split and then specified the file in the Unattend.xml file with .swm but it says that not all the files are there. I have multiple entries in the .wim file so doing an Apply of a specific image doesn't work the way I need it to. I just want to put that .wim file onto a USB key or a Dual Layer DVD and during my preliminary build process, I copy it over to the local hard drive. Is there a way to get this file onto the computer using the tools in WAIK?
